<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The work describes the results of a study of gene endothelial NO-synthase (eNOS) polymorphism in patients with gastroesophageal reflex disease (GERD) combined with obesity. It is shown that even isolated GERD course occurs against changes in gene polymorphism. GERD and obesity in 48.8 % of cases occurs at a polymorphic variant of the eNOS gene (pathological genotype CC), that allows to speak about increased risk of endothelial and hemostatic disorders, in particular, the development of cardiac symptoms. These factors may contribute to the development of atypical forms of the disease, its progression and the appearance of complications.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гастроэзофагеальная рефлюксная болезнь</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>патогенез</kwd><kwd>полиморфизм гена эндотелиальной No-синтазы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>gastroesophageal reflux disease</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>pathogenesis</kwd><kwd>polymorphism of endothelial NO-synthase gene</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Бабак О.
