Патогенез СД2, старческой астении (СА) и когнитивной дисфункции тесно взаимосвязаны в контексте старения. Инсулинорезистентность, атеросклероз, хроническое воспаление, окислительный стресс и митохондриальная дисфункция неотъемлемо вовлечены в механизм развития патогенетических звеньев СА, когнитивных нарушений и СД2. Диетические рекомендации, направленные на адекватное потребление макро-/микронутриентов, способствуют предотвращению или замедлению развития возраст ассоциированных заболеваний, помогут улучшить качество и увеличить продолжительность жизни у пожилых людей с СД2. В данном обзоре литературы проведен анализ современных данных о важности правильного питания для гликемического контроля, профилактики СА, саркопении и деменции у больных СД2 пожилого возраста.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>One of the urgent tasks of modern medicine associated with the progressive aging of the population is the formation of a strategy for managing elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), including an interdisciplinary approach taking into account a comprehensive geriatric assessment, optimization of glycemic control, personalized pharmacological therapy and diet therapy. The pathogenesis of T2DM, frailty (FA) and cognitive dysfunction are closely interrelated in the context of aging. Insulin resistance, atherosclerosis, chronic inflammation, oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction are integrally involved in the mechanism of development of pathogenetic links of FA, cognitive impairment and T2DM. Dietary recommendations aimed at adequate intake of macro-/micronutrients help prevent or slow down the development of age-associated diseases, help improve the quality and increase life expectancy in elderly people with T2DM.
