В этой статье мы проанализировали истории болезней 6466 амбулаторных больных с заболеваниями желудочно-кишечного тракта, обратившихся к гастроэнтерологу в Минском клиническом консультационно-диагностическом центре. Было отобрано 1698 пациентов с синдромом раздраженного кишечника (СРК). Выявлено, что СРК является распространенным функциональным расстройством кишечника и его доля среди заболеваний желудочно-кишечного тракта составила 26,3%. СРК у женщин встречается в 2,5 раза чаще, чем у мужчин. СРК встречался во всех возрастных группах с небольшой разницей по частоте, подтипов и по возрасту, преимущественно в пожилом возрасте.

In this data, we analyzed patients’ histories of 6466 outpatients with gastrointestinal (GI) diseases who visited gastroenterologist in Minsk Clinical Consulting Diagnostic Centre. 1698 patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) were selected. It was revealed that IBS is a wide spread functional bowel disorder and its proportion among GI diseases was 26,3%. IBS in females is 2.5 times more common than in males. IBS occurred in all age groups with a small difference in the frequency of subtypes by age, mainly at the overage age.
