Wilson’s disease (hepatolenticular degeneration, dystrophia hepatocerebralis) - a chronic, progressive disease with a genetically determined autosomal recessive mode of inheritance. The violence in metabolism of copper with its excessive accumulation in visceral organs and central nervous system is the basis of the disease.
